4747 is an upscale new American restaurant that does a really good brunch, probably the best in LIC. We loved the spread we shared: Banana Creme Brulee French Toast, Wagyu Burger, and an Oxtail Pork Sandwich. On the pricier side for sure, but good quality and portions. Loved the French toast and both sandwiches were good. They have a bottomless brunch for an extra $26 if you're interested too. Really enjoyed this meal and will be back to try dinner soon!

This is a great spot for brunch on the weekends. The food was delicious and the service was nice and friendly. The cocktails are on the pricey side, but they have an unlimited mimosa deal for 90 minutes at a reasonable price which I did not take advantage of (maybe next time). I definitely recommend the Eggs Purgatory (but maybe without the anchovies since the fish flavor can be a bit overwhelming) or the salmon Eggs Benedict.

I was there on Sunday for a baby shower and i can feel the attentiveness of the staff. They were helpful and accommodating and they really tried to give us a good experience. The food was also amazing. Lobster roll, salad, homemade chips with the best dip, cauliflower, fried chicken. I was very happy with the food offerings. I hope to come back in the future for their regular service. The restaurant was also packed on Sunday, a good sign. Plus the restrooms were clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend

Great food and service here! Loved the vibe of the restaurant and options available for brunch. I had the steak with salad and it was delicious! My friends had the lobster roll, pork belly, and mashed avocado on toast.

I've been here for dinner (also amazing) before but first time for brunch & it's a great spot for brunch with the girls! The wait staff were friendly and accommodating - provided us great recs for brunch options including the AYCD mimosas and Bellinis. The food was delicious as well. Highly recommend to check out!

Deliiiiiiicious food. The cauliflower is some of the best I've ever had - bursting with flavor and perfect balance of crunch and tenderness. Octopus also was grilled perfection and sat on top of really yummy and beautiful black rice. Cornish hen main for my husband was delightful as well. And lava cake and cappuccino to end the night - made this all a 5 star meal for me! Note: you will not want to share the lava cake (we each got one for ourselves!) really friendly staff and good service, ambiance is quiet and chill - people had their kids and dogs.

I went for brunch, the food and cocktails were fantastic. The burger was perfection from both a temperature (medium rare) and flavor profile. The fries were crispy and had a nice hint of truffle. The service was lacking though and could be improved. I've gone to 4747 LIC a few times now and each time been blown away by the kitchen but disappointed in the front of house. The servers are not very attentive to tables and it can take ages to get another drink or the check. I'd recommend stopping in if you are in the neighborhood as long as you aren't in a rush. Check out their Instagram for photos of the rest of their menu including many of their popular / more common specials.

A nice dinner in a cozy little place by Gantry State Park. I chose here because I wanted to try to stay in this area and find a place that actually took reservations and was a nice sit-down place but not Asian food. 4747 was in a perfect location. I got there at 6pm on Saturday night to almost no customers dining. However, tables filled in a little bit. I got a negroni sbagliato (a very 2023 drink), and it was super refreshing and tasty! The bar area seemed to have gotten special attention and love, it was stocked far beyond what I'd expect from a restaurant this size. We had an appetizer off the specials of the day, a salmon crudo. The crudo was nice and refreshing. I do wish there was a little more olive oil flavor, but it tickled me to hear the wait staff describe crudo as "similar to sashimi". I had the house papardelle and my friend had the short ribs. Both were delicious and reminded me of jerk seasoning, a bright peppery taste that was very warming and homey. I did rally to finish my pasta since I knew I couldn't pack any home. We also ordered cakes for dessert. I had the ricotta pistachio, which was honestly the most underwhelming part of the meal. It didn't hit the deep pistachio nutty and sweetness I was expecting, and the crumbled dried pistachios on top tasted almost stale. Overall, if not for the very attentive service that was given by the young wait staff, I would rate this a three. The service truly bumped it up because they were all trying so hard to be attentive and accommodating. Food was not bad, but pretty average for being on the pricier side (even for the area). I might stop by here for drinks and an appetizer as bar snack after a long day in the park.
